For the upcoming year, IOSS will carry out the following programs:

• Hold the Annual IOSS meeting during the ARVO meeting, and Regional Meetings on the topic of new strategies for ocular surface reconstruction.
• Form specific standing committees to carry out various tasks.
• Form a Core Facility for Impression Cytology to facilitate collaborative studies among members and Centers on various ocular surface and tear disorders.

Benefits to members include:

• Free attendance to the annual meeting of IOSS and reduced registration fees to regional meetings
• Free access to the Society-based web site (www.ioss.org), e-mail service and participation in discussion and consultation of interesting and difficult ocular surface disorders
• Receiving quarterly newsletters concerning diagnosis and treatment of various ocular surface and tear disorders
